Prices

Group trips show their price per person on the trip page. Private trips have no price list: each one is quoted for the group that asks for it, based on the trip, how many of you there are and how long you want to be out. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

When you send a request for a private trip you are asking for a price, not agreeing to one. We hold the date while we reply. The figure we give you is the figure you pay — it does not change afterwards unless you change the trip, the date or the size of your group, and we would tell you before it did.

Booking and payment

There is nothing to pay up front — we take no deposit and no card details, and nothing is booked until you have seen a price and said yes. You pay Discover Tamazirt at the end of the day, in cash (dirhams or euros) or by card.

Private and group trips

On a private trip, the date and departure you take are yours: no other group joins you. Group trips are shared with other travellers. Group sizes are limited per trip, and are shown on each trip page.

Cancellation

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your departure. After that, message us — we are reasonable about genuine changes of plan, and there is nothing to refund since nothing has been paid.

We may cancel or move a trip for weather, road conditions, or anything else that would make the day unsafe or unpleasant. We will tell you as early as we can, and you pay nothing.

Changing the route

Your guide may change the route, the walking distance or the order of the day for safety reasons, or because conditions on the ground have changed. The trip pages describe what a typical day looks like, not a fixed itinerary.

Your responsibility

These are natural places without signs, railings or supervision. Swimming, walking and climbing are at your own risk, and you should follow your guide’s instructions. Tell us in advance about medical conditions, mobility limits, or anyone in your group who cannot swim, so we can plan the day properly.

Bring what each trip page asks you to bring. Suitable shoes and enough water are not optional on the mountain trips.

Children

Children are welcome on most trips and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tell us their ages when you book.

Where you meet us

We agree the meeting place and time with you directly, and confirm both the day before. If you are not there at the agreed time and we cannot reach you, we may have to start without you — the mountain trips depend on an early start.
