Group trip on 23–25 October 2026, leaving on the Friday afternoon. Transport leaves from Agadir, Sidi Youssef (in front of Mini Pain) at 13:00, from Inezgane (CTM office) at 13:30, and from Tamansourt, near Marrakech, at 16:30.
Imsfrane — “the Cathedral” — is a rock shaped like a church, standing among the plateaus and red earth of the Atlas, beside its waterfalls and the Ahansal river. This trip climbs it and explores what lies around it.
Day 1 — We leave Agadir and Inezgane in the early afternoon, and stop at Tamansourt, the third departure point, at 16:30. Lunch and dinner are on the road, at your own expense. We arrive at the guesthouse, where rooms are shared between three to five people, and spend the night.
Day 2 — Breakfast is at 07:00 and we leave at 08:00. Local 4x4s take us to the nearest point to the summit of Imsfrane, 1,872 metres, and from there it is an hour and a half on foot, on a route that suits beginners. After time on top we return by 4x4 to the guesthouse for lunch and a rest. In the afternoon the 4x4s take us to the Ahansal gorges, with free time there, and then on to the hidden waterfalls of Wakhoudn, a 25-minute walk, with time to swim. Back at the guesthouse there is dinner, and an evening of local Ahidous music. We sleep at the lodge.
Day 3 — Breakfast at 08:00. We visit the old wood factory and its well-known truck, stop for photographs beside the Ahansal river, and set off home at 12:30. Lunch is at your own expense.
The price includes a comfortable, air-conditioned coach; the 4x4s; two nights at the lodge; two breakfasts, lunch, dinner and a snack of tea and sweets; the Ahidous group; and the people who guide and look after the trip.
Not included: lunch and dinner on Friday, and lunch on Sunday.
