Group trip on 3–4 October 2026. Transport leaves from Agadir, Sidi Youssef (in front of Mini Pain, beside the Al Jazara grills) at 07:30, and from Inezgane (in front of the CTM office) at 08:00.
Ifni Lake lies in Toubkal National Park in the High Atlas, at about 2,500 metres — one of the highest lakes anywhere. This trip walks in to it, spends the night in tents on its shore, and has the next morning on the water.
Day 1 — We drive to the village of Amsouzart, where lunch is at your own expense. From there it is about two hours on foot to the lake, a walk that suits beginners; if you would rather not walk, a mule can carry you. We pass the spring of Ain Tanakhar on the way. At the lake there is time to settle in, then dinner, and an evening together around the fire with candles and lights. We sleep in tents: large, comfortable, two people to each.
Day 2 — Breakfast at 08:00, then swimming, and kayaking on the lake with life jackets provided. Lunch is at the lake. We walk back to Amsouzart through the douar of Ait Igrane, and leave for Agadir at 18:30.
The price includes comfortable, air-conditioned transport; the bivouac — tent, mat, cook, and mules to carry the luggage both ways; the kayaking; dinner, breakfast and lunch at the lake; a certified guide; and the people who run and look after the trip.
Not included: lunch in Amsouzart on the first day.
